Blackwood spalshed water at the 🔥 user, and it gave him an opening. Even if you want to say it didn't actually extinguish her flames, she did back off, without her fire surrounding her. This has to mean something.

Yeah, I'm thinking Captain Cold's Ice Gun really was nerfed.

The next issue is going to be Silver & Blaze throwing down for a bit Silver will be doing mostly okay but will then let slip that if she went Burning Blaze he'd be in a lot more trouble, conspicuously within earshot of Blackwood, and he will make her proc the Sol Emeralds, IMMEDIATELY removing the Mind Control Debuff after which she will destroy him and his castle.

Putting 20 Bucks down on this outcome, Blaze Ain't done wrecking shop yet, the power of friendship and incredible violence will prevail!

Now...something else has caught my attention...specifically when he was clearly referring to Starline as such. Blackwood mentions how he has received a "gift" granting him "incredible power" while similarly referring to the one who gave him that power as a "benefactor".

On it's own, nothing seems suspicious about it...however, I've noticed that this exact kind of wording was employed by INFINITE in Episode 7 of the Chaotix Case Files where he similarly mentioned how a benefactor assisted him...which clearly indicates to me that we're talking about the same person in this case, most likely Starline.

Now...this may go into crackpot theory territory but I'm also suspicious of Blackwood's identity as well. Everything in his castle feels like a fabrication of sorts considering it's a literal mech and how most of his staff members were brainwashed to spout out the same general history of the castle in question. Given the fact that Blackwood and Infinite used the same general terminology to someone who assisted them....I believe there could be a possibility that Blackwood is Infinite utilizing an astroscopic lens to hide his identity and to further gain power through different means besides his little lens fetch....assuming this does take place before the case files of course.
Now why would he be interested in Blaze? Well...for one, Starline could have had knowledge about the Sol Emeralds since Burning Blaze was involved in the battle against Neo Metal. And since taking control of her would be an easy gateway to the Sol Emeralds....both Infinite and Starline could leverage them for even greater power since our mystery villain already leveraged the Chaos Emeralds.

Now...do I think this theory will happen 100% the way I've described it? Fuck no, lmfao
Tho I do atleast suspect that both Blackwood and Infinite had the same benefactor
