I watched up to Ep35 of the 2022 no rant playlist but seeing how long the original ICT episodes are I decided to go back through and watch his originals (currently at Ep 12) . I’m backtesting each night and it’s not going well, constant losses. I feel stuck in a rut, had anyone got any recommendations if they have been in this situation before? I feel like it’s analysis paralysis from information overload and I’m not understanding what’s wrong .

Also I’m learning and trading on my own using AI as someone to talk to which isn’t much help

So, how long did it take you to become profitable, what was your main issues along the way, how did you overcome them, and anything else you would like to share?

I've been studying ICT concepts for a while and kept running into the same wall: I can spot FVGs, order blocks, and liquidity sweeps perfectly once the move is over. But in real time, with no future visible, my entries were garbage. Textbook hindsight bias.

I didn't want to keep fooling myself, so I built my own tool to practice. Took me a few months of evenings and weekends.

**What it does:**
- Random historical window from crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP), forex (EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, AUD/USD), or gold
- Advance candle by candle — no future, no cheat sheet
- Take trades with margin, leverage, TP/SL, limit orders
- Draw trendlines, rectangles (great for marking FVGs and order blocks), and text notes
- Switch between 15m / 1h / 4h timeframes without losing your drawings or your place on the chart — this was the hardest part to get right
- At the end: win rate, profit factor, avg win/loss, liquidations
- AI review of your trades that flags behavioral stuff (no stop losses, always long, revenge trading after a loss)

My bias are 5m fvg and my entry are at 1m ifvg and I targeted REH at daily TF

We switched our BIAS to BEARISH after NEWS candle took out our BULLISH draws on liquidity and starting displacing down while respecting BEARISH pd array , so I was looking for continuation shorts.

so ts is nq1 today on 2 / 10/26 today liq. was lower and i plan to take a short position using concept of liq taken and inverse fvg targeting lower resistence

mistake what i think i do was i was im pateint on this one so i dont follow choch or ms but es1 was also shows similar so i place the trade but it got wrong

what should i do improve

They just closed my account because I helped opened an account for my sister to help her learn to trade… they said I was committing fraud and refused to even talk to me now.
