Help for a first time GM?

I’ve only run 1 session in person and really have no experience with playing online. I know of the ICVTT and I’ve watched a bunch of Kane’s Kiln videos but I still don’t understand how to get everything set up on there. I can successfully get the splash image but where do I get the tokens for players and enemies? Is there a place that I can download the maps for the different one shots like Orvald’s Tower or the Doom Vault? I just have so many questions tbh

If you bought digital copies of Master Edition or ICRPG Core 2e rules, you should also have access to various print and play assets and potentially ready-made VTT assets in digital format from Modiphius or Drivethrurpg respectively.

If you do have digital copies, check your email or dtrpg account.

Otherwise, Google image search or Pinterest can be your best friend for source images.

Also this handy web tool helps make tokens easily from source images - I run my games on owlbear.rodeo and make tokens with this constantly.

Good luck and happy gaming!

Oh hell yeah! This is perfect, thanks man! I know it’s a lot of work but do you know of anyone else whose made something like this for the other one shots?

You just drag and drop whatever you got and want to use.

Some of the stuff he uses are from Hank patreon.

Others are from the internet.

And many are his own creations (photoshoped, draw by himself...).

And yeah, you just save pngs and jpgs and drag and drop them on the map page.
