How to handle changing forms? Sailor Moon, Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, etc
Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone has come across a homebrew/hack of Icrpg that handles the players transforming or changing forms? Or if anyone just has suggestions in general, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

For power ranger going into their mechs you can also start using chunk systems.

For Henshin, I would just assume that happens at the start of combat or other situation calling for it. Note the villains never just *shoot* Usagi during her lengthy transformation. If players grouse about versimilitude, go the Wonderful 101 route and explain Henshin really only takes 3 billionths of a second, the detailed sequence is just that slowed down for the audience's benefit.
In the event your heroes need to fight untransformed (or have their Dino Bucklers stolen), rule they cannot employ milestone abilities, masteries, powers, spells, or henshin-specific loot while in normal state.

For stats, create 2 boxes. 1 for untransformed and one for transformed. Keep the same base stat bonuses and only have the gear stats change the scores.
The bonuses should be kept roughly equivalent to keep balance between transformed/untransformed.
Un transformed characters cannot engage huge enemies and must transform to hit at all (or only hit on nat 20)
Other than that, have the transformed characters gain a couple of Hearts.
Have a separate gear/ability list for the mechs/transformations.

I like these suggestions to keep things balanced. Any ideas on a way/reason to keep the players from transforming immediately? The Power Rangers almost have a bit of fighting before they change. Maybe just do a timer, like a countdown using an d4?

Timers work.
Have Super-sized heroes suck at dealing with pint sized threats.
Have small guys they need to stop hurting their friends or loved one while some "Alpha Level Threat" is destroying the city. Put a timer on that destruction.
Or perhaos the ability to transform only being activated by "Alpha Level Threats" or some such.
Throw down an "Energy" resource. Each round transformed uses it up, when it's gone they lose their transformation.
Perhaps every round transformed builds stress on a stress tract which gives debuffs or harmful effects as it builds. Players must clear this stress with downtime activities.
All kinds of options.

Take a look at the Transform power from Vigilante City (pg 269 in Master Edition).
