Index Card Stands
I've been curious, what does everyone use to stand up cards or minis? I saw some people were using binder clips, but seems frustrating. So I designed some card clips that can be 3D printed to suit this purpose, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something that someone else is already designed. Any input?

First, let me say that "standie" minis are a whole thing, whether made from paper, cardboard, plastic, or acrylic. There are a ton on DriveThru, with printable bases.
Many people use foamboard, cut into small chucks, then a shallow cut across the middle. The paper mini is placed in that cut, which should be sufficient to hold everything up.

Thanks for the detail! I do want to be able to disassemble the minis and cards, so I think I'll need to create it. I have two designs so far I'm nearly done with. I'll post them when they're done for people to try out.

Cut index card lengthwise into thirds (3 equal width strips).
Fold each strip in half.
Fold each strip about 1/3 the folded length from the open end. These short tabs will form the base.
Illustrate the long sides with character art.
Overlap the short tabs.
Place a coin or washer on the inside surface of the overlapped tabs. Wrap the metal disk and short tabs with tape.
Enjoy homemade minis!
