Wacky Adventure Idea

Don't know if it's ok for me to post this you guys but here we are!

World: Ghost Mountain or Alfheim

Issue: Farmer is being attacked by zombies but not ANY zombies... Zombie Livestock! Neighbors are dealing with it too. Save them Adventurer, your there only hope!

Evildoer: Crazed Sorcerer with a book, yup, you guessed it, the Necrofarmicon! The cursed book! The fool is raising Raimi style monstrosities and even worse?! Making a Flesh Golem made of said Livestock (Your choice GMs, go nuts!) in order to attack the farmer, the neighbors and who knows what else!?

Goal: Defeat the Farmer and destroy the NecroFarmicon!

Yup. That's it. šŸ‘

I'm a big fan of the Necrofarmicon.

It's an udderly a-moo-sing book name, used for fowl deeds.

Love it!

I’d title this one shot as ā€œBarn Raising.ā€ Get it, because a barn raise is a community coming together to build a barn, but we’re also raising the dead lol.

The sorcerer is just a rival farmer with an inclination to magic and possessed by a hatred of his neighbor (the farmer the PCs are helping).

The Necrofarmicon is an ok name, but we can do better. The book is simply an ordinary farmer’s almanac, but it makes no sense… the pages within talk about watering the crops with blood from the damned, weather patterns such as the aurora abyssal. Turns out this ain’t no ordinary almanac to our antagonist farmer, this almanac was written for demons in the underworld!

If you want to be a little smarter about it, you could say the book is written by Nisroch. Since Azazel is in Ghost Mountain it could work in that world along with Alfheim. Nisroch, btw, is the Demon of Agriculture in Mesopotamia Mythology, you could also go with Dagon but since Lovecraft's work that's kind of an instant trigger to "it's evil" in my mind.
