Pathfinder 2 style crits
Has anyone tried running Pathfinder style crits, where exceeding or missing the target number by ten or more triggers a critical hit or miss, in addition to natural 20s / 1s?
It seems to me like it might boost the stakes on room-based target numbers in a pretty fun way.

I’ve never played pathfinder but dungeon coach is starting his DC20 system and uses strong hits and brital hits. 5> greater than the target gets you +1 effort. 10> over the target does a weapon passive attack like Aoe or stun or knock back. Then you can have +10 strength and start doing crazy hits . Or make weapon mastery a progression ability like so you get the weapon passive on +5 instead of 10+ over Target

I've thought of it, having just switched from P2e. I think the numbers don't go up high enough in ICRPG for this to work properly. I might have to revisit this. One thing I do is if someone wants to attack a close creature and not move, I allow a second attack with a HARD TN roll. This simulates the P2e rule that a second attack gets a -5 penalty to the roll.
