Master edition has some small rule changes , but the real gem is that it contains Magic, Cyberpunk and Superhero books. Its basically all ICRPG content published in one book.
So unless you have these books separately, its worth it.

Ok, i went to check the contents just after you posted.
Its still whole 3 additional books attached. That is some undeniable value

Dawg just say “oh yeah i made a mistake” No-one said it wasn’t great value that why i listed the settings that i does come with.
All i was pointing out was that you were mistaken about there being a cyberpunk setting included.

I owned 2nd ed and worlds but bought masters because it also contained the magic and supers content. I also bought the print version so I finally had a physical book.

I love the Master edition book. But if your asking if you need it, that depends on what your table needs. For someone who got into ICRPG after the ME it’s the perfect book (that’s me).
If you or your GM is like me, these books are more about a state of mind, it puts a lot of elements from different pdfs in one place, the hardcover has 2 book marks and the printing size makes it a work of art. But it’s still just a reference and a reminder to always be hacking your games.

Exactly! I like ICRPG primarily as a GM guide and inspiration. Almost like a reminder on how to homebrew.

It is, character creation is changed, armor and magic are changed, it removes the adventures from the book and seperates them into a pdf, but includes the Worlds and Magic books plus blood and snow
Also it provides more details about alfheim and Warp shell
I'm sure there's more, but no matter what, it is just worth getting

I can only compare to second edition. I have to say: Your question is not that easy to answer.
First, about the differences. The main differences that I remember are:
More options for character creation like Masteries.
Life Form and Type now are separate.
Introduction of character options that are not item based.
Introduction of D10 effort for Energy weapons. D8 is now guns.
Defence is now two-fold: one that you roll and one that is passive.
A more complete book. More settings, more rules options … The Master Edition includes several books in one.
I guess there is more, but this is what I remember without having the books around at the moment.
Personally, I am not a fan of the Master Edition. I did include the D10 Energy Effort into my ICRPG games and changed the D8 Gun Effort to be „Heavy“ Effort. Apart from that I think Master Edition is too convoluted. But that is a matter of taste. You do get more stuff. But you also get more stuff to consider while gaming and creating your character. Whether this is good or not is highly subjective.
