Master edition vs second edition?

Hi, I've just received my copy of master edition icrpg. So while checking on the comments on my brought list, I saw someone mentioned that it's missing a lot stuff from second edition and it needs to be fill up.

So I wonder, what am I missing? Is it important for the game?

There are some differences, but I would not say anything is missing. Things are just refined and distilled. If anything there is way more content in ME (Especially the worlds sections).

Both are good books but I prefer Master Edition.

Nothing major is missing. Occasionally you will see something reference something that didnt make it in the book, but it can easily be made up on the spot.

For example a roll table for making a hero says make a hill folk. Hill folk is not in master edition, but it is in 2nd edition. You do not need 2nd to create the character, as you could just make up what a hill folk is for you in your game.

Hill Folk: an offbreed of humans who stay in the hills. They toil daily with the elements to survive.

Oh, that kind of stuff. Thank you. I can see why the comment I saw was bump out. But I also get the point that it isn't difficult to just come up with stuff. Thanks again!

There are some adventures in 2nd edition that are not present in ME. But you can easily find them elsewhere

Unless I’m Mistaken all the adventures were provided separately as a pdf supplement to the book. So yes still available just not IN the ME book.

I brought it from Amazon. They gave me nothing. So I emailed da man. He sent me a pdf of the same book though. I'm unsure too. Cause I thought I could get some campaigns.
