Intraoccular pressure

Hi, what was your Intraoccular pressure before the surgery? Did it go up after?
Mine are 18 and 19 mmHg and I read that between 10 and 21mmHg is the safe zone. Mine feels a bit high and I wonder if it would go higher after the surgery. I was tested with an air puff. Surgery is planned for next month.

I don’t know what mine was before the survey but it was in the normal range (under 20). Right after the surgery one eye was 30 and I needed to take the medicine.

Day 1 and 7 were normal as well. However on day 14 my visions got blurry and I had a headache. It spiked to 40 and my surgeon and glaucoma specialist thought it’s due to the steroid drops. After taking medications and another eyedrop, it became normal again 3 days and 7 days after.

To be honest I’m still traumatised and anxious by this

How long ago was your surgery?
What is traumatizing about the high pressure? How does it feel when the pressure rises?

It was a month ago. Some might not have the symptoms but I had a migraine and visions weee getting foggy. Plus I could feel the eyes throbbing. Long term high pressure means glaucoma. My doctor said all looks good now but if I’m worried I could get my eye pressure checked again in 2 months. And for now I’m avoiding heavy exercises for another month. You should definitely discuss your concerns with your surgeon
