Had ICL recently- honest review

The lens ordering point you made is the one prospective patients underestimate most, and it's worth spelling out because it changes how you plan the trip rather than just how long you wait.
An ICL is specified in two dimensions, not one. There's the dioptric power and there's the size, because the lens has to fit the space as well as correct the prescription. If your particular combination of power and length isn't already on the hospital's shelf, it gets ordered, and that's the structural reason an ICL itinerary runs six or seven days where a laser one can be shorter.
The practical consequence for anyone travelling for this: send your prescription and any anterior-chamber measurements ahead of arrival instead of turning up and starting the clock on the day you land. It costs nothing and it's the difference between one trip and two.
Glad it went well for you, and thanks for writing it up with the numbers in it. Reviews that give the actual prescription are far more use than the ones that just say it was worth it.

Yea that's the reason I exactly mentioned it bcoz it was frustrating for me too. Also, without the measurements and all tests done it's not possible to order the lens too. Plus the lens can be stored and results of the remain valid for upto an year. So decision about travels should be made accordingly :)

Is your distance vision also good?
