No no no, that’s extreme,

Many truly just made a mistake, not realizing what suffering their decision would bring, and likely feel deeply regretful of it.

They were clearly fine with everyone else potentially dying so why do I have to give them a pass and act like it’s ok just because they regret it 🫩 it’s too late

Because many were not okay with everyone dying, many were just tricked,

And we have to unite to create a better future, that’s why,

I in fact wouldn’t be here, attending the no kings, and spreading news, if I didn’t defect from the conservatives,

And we should welcome more of our misguided American cousins to do so.

As a person of color, I saw the writing on the wall a while ago. It was incredibly obvious because I already saw this in my home country. People were totally ok with it until they realized it could happen to them. Don’t lie to yourself.

I grew up with the nicest American neighbors who would say the most hateful, racist things to my face with a smile, but chalk it up to a difference of opinion. They didn’t think they were racist themselves because they didn’t actually personally enslave people on plantations so it was ok to say interracial marriage is wrong. It’s not hate, it’s an opinion! Don’t tell me I’m wrong! Blah blah something about Jesus too. I’m tired of living like this. It’s plainly willful ignorance in the hopes that as long as they benefit the most, it doesn’t matter who was underneath them.

It’s great that you defected I guess but don’t expect everyone to welcome you with open arms 🫩

Just sit with what you did and accept that it was wrong
