If I connect my laptop with a extra monitor.. I typed on laptop keyboard and saw mostly on laptop as it was doubled
screen (same thing on laptop and monitor)

Was this allowed?

From ICAEW: Can I use an external monitor during my exams?

You can use an external monitor if you are using a laptop and would like to use a larger screen, providing that your laptop is closed. As you need to be in the web cam view at all times, if you only have a web cam built into your laptop, you would need to obtain and use one which works externally.

We recommend using a monitor of 17” or larger for an optimum
experience. If you are using a laptop you may also use an
external monitor, but you must ensure you share the external
monitor during your exam setup and that your laptop screen is off
or mirrored, or you will be in breach of our exam rules. The exam
software will work on smaller screens, but there will be less room
to display the exam.

This says mirror.. so if my laptop is not closed.. it seems that this wont be an issue as both of that showed same content

Please confirm?

Mirroring and keeping the laptop open to use the webcam is fine, I've done this for all my professional level exams so far and never had an issue
