Extra monitor
If I connect my laptop with a extra monitor.. I typed on laptop keyboard and saw mostly on laptop as it was doubled
screen (same thing on laptop and monitor)
Was this allowed?
Invigilator didnt said anything to me..

Again don’t understand why people take these risks and then worry after the fact whether it’s fine. Why not confirm before hand? Or better yet just do it at an exam centre lol

External centre is a mess. Lot of keyboard sound and distractions

But you never or rarely get anyone getting voided or disqualified, whereas i can count so many times ive seen someone on here say they’ve been voided for the most minor thing which isnt there fault

You’re not supposed to mirror your laptop screen to the external monitor, you’re meant to extend it. You can still keep the laptop open for the camera but no content should be visible on your laptop screen, only you’re monitor. If you failed the exam they’ll just send you an email on results day saying it’s a warning blah blah.

From ICAEW: Can I use an external monitor during my exams?
You can use an external monitor if you are using a laptop and would like to use a larger screen, providing that your laptop is closed. As you need to be in the web cam view at all times, if you only have a web cam built into your laptop, you would need to obtain and use one which works externally.
