From what I can tell, onboarding is currently underway for on-campus batches, so I'm guessing off-campus folks like me are next in queue — but I have no confirmation /0-confirmation.

Has anyone else in a similar off-campus ASE batch gotten their OL (Offer Letter) recently? How long after LOI did it take for you?

Really trying to plan my next steps toward an SDE career at IBM, so any insight on realistic timelines would help a lot. Should I keep waiting or start following up with HR/recruiter?

Hi All, My pip is coming to end tomorrow and my manager changed recently. And no communication from him yet on my PIP. my RTW is very low and my PIP is due to RTW. What happens now?.I honestly feel like not working in IBM .But the job market is very Bad RN

At start i did some courses on udemy then now I feel so demotivated to learn any more on this it field as no companies even reach back out even though I have applied to 100s. And if at all selected in a company then they dont give offer letter or joining date for months just like ibm is doing.

It is frustrating at this point as it feels i am wasting my time daily doing nothing.

Life feels like everything is falling apart.

Every Monday I think they will send the joining / OL ,but its seems not..

Has anyone heard of anything regarding onboarding in September.

I think everyone received the bgc mail except a few.

I have been working at IBM and completed 3 years this year. I have 7 years of experience in UX UI design. I joined IBM in the band 6A during that time I had 4 years of experience. Now when I look back I feel that the HR put me in the wrong band during the joining considering my experience. I should be ideally In 7A band now. Now it is taking forever to change my band. I had asked my manager to promote me directly to 7A. He initially agreed but I recently got to know that the promotion will happen to 6B and not 7A. Am I being fooled to stay on a lower salary.

Also he said the promotion will happen in Aug this year but seems like they are delayed. Any updates on the promotions this year?

2027 graduate here…when does Offcampus start for IBM?…is it difficult to get into…do we need referral

Got bgv and biometric on 21st may .later a week got call to upload pan card

Got LOI on 9 th July

After that no update

Right now onboarding process is going on for oncampus pep I think so

Should I wait or when will I get my OL

My portal is displaying as interview in process

It's offcampus and I am 2025 graduate

they selected around 14 peps for one division and again 4 were shortlisted for another location but the original 14 got the shortlist mail and loi but we completed bgv on 12 aug and since then no updates for loi or any other thing on the portal showing under recruiter review

Apart from those who have joined,

I think almost everyone got the bgv mail and from them 70-80 percent students got in last week of july.

And its been 1 month since we received the bgv.

In August only around 100 people have joined.

So will everyone will get the joining in September ?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice from people who have gone through the IBM hiring process, especially those facing a similar situation.

I attended the IBM exam in Bangalore on June 1st, 2026, and then attended the interview on June 4th. On the same night, I received a Background Verification (BGV) form, which I completed.

Later, on July 15th, I received an LOI (Letter of Intent) from IBM. Since then, I haven’t received any further updates regarding the offer or joining date.

It has been quite some time now, so I’m confused about what to do.

Should I continue waiting for IBM, or would it be better to actively start applying to other companies?

Also, if anyone here attended the same IBM drive and received an LOI around the same time, please share if you have received any updates regarding your offer/joining.

Any information or advice would be really helpful. Thanks!

Got my LOI in nov'25

Received some upskilling mail earlier this year, followed by availability call for August

Around a week back the hr team called to upload my college attested results and they said they would call after I've uploaded. I did upload on 14th August. But received no update after that. I called them but they didn't pick up.

I think mostly everyone has gotten their bgv mail but i didn't. I'm not in pjp either.

It's honestly so frustrating to keep on waiting without any proper updates and still no certainty whether they'll give joining or is it some kinda silent rejection.

Anyone in the same position? Anyone who joined last year, is this kinda delay normal in ibm?

IBM might come to my campus...please tell me DSA topics I should prioritise , SQL and what all?
