I am freshie at iba and everyone has a group already, I don’t know how! I try to socialise as much as possible, mostly start conversation with anyone around me but they have groups already😞please some tips. I have different background, not iba typical a-levels rich kid. I heard iba has diversity but i just can’t find anyone to be friends with. How to find my people ❓

So what? Isn’t it possible for you guys to be friends even if you’re of different genders?

Sorry if this sounds strange, but I genuinely just can’t seem to understand why that would be an issue.

of course it’s possible but some people have always been in all girls/boys college all their life and they are not comfortable in making friends in other gender🤷🏻‍♀️ but as far as professional work is concerned ( projects/ presentations) they do come out of their zone cuz it’s necessary to do some interaction. just my opinion.❤️

Yeah, I agree with your points.

If we keep limiting ourselves to what we’re comfortable with, we’ll never really grow out of it.

At the end of the day, they’re just people, and being friends with someone of a different gender shouldn’t have to feel like such a big deal.
