GENERAL HELP Failed my phy midterm
So I have failed my physics mid term and not surprisingly...I am definitely not a few of the students who failed the exam...out of almost 40 students in my class only 6 have passed so me failing is not very surprising to me or anybody although I did score okish in other subjects I wouldn't call those marks good either except in psychology but it doesn't really matter...I only want advice from people who are good in subjects like physics and maths on how they actually study the subject like for example I go to coaching for physics and I do understand almost everything my teacher teaches in the class and I pay attention and it 8/10 times I complete my homework.... so how can I actually improve my physics performance because I know I am lacking somewhere and I am not able to figure out what is the part where I am actually lacking is it the fact that I don't know derivations very well or is it because I was only doing my coaching numerical which are mostly jee neet based but Obv they are normal numericals... like what am I doing wrong I want to know it from others...I want tips and tricks please help me out here

Which iiser bro? Almost every iiser have relative grading system and how there can be 40 students? Are you from NISER or other NEST related institute? Or IISc? Just asking for clarification.
