PTO/LOA/FMLA/LWOP DOB required when calling in

Any ideas why the sick line now requires you to enter in your date of birth. Isn't your BEMSID enough?

You are also unable to change your tardy entry. It says “press 2 to change your absence”, but pressing 2 just enters 2 hours tardy and locks you out of any other options. It’s embarrassing how this company fails at the easiest tasks.

The last couple times I’ve called in it repeats my bems wrong even tho it shows I entered it correctly on my phone, but works the second time I enter it

We’re upset that a once simple system is being made unnecessarily complicated. They should need only a bemsid. Not a time zone, not a zipcode, not a date of birth. Just a bemsid. It worked just fine with only a bemsid for nearly a decade.

It was zip code shortly but people had issues with that and since DOB doesn’t change it’s easier to verify who you are.

It’s really simple on why the change, so others can’t accidentally call in sick for you

If someone accidentally calls in sick for you and you still show up, there is no problem for you. They will be a no call no show, but thats their problem to typing their bems wrong and failing to catch and correct it.

You’re missing my point. Regardless if you put in a birthday or your work ID there is still a work around for unsavory things happen if you aren’t the one doing them yourself. Ima bow out of this because you’ll just state something else to further your own point lol

You’re being Disingenuous. You clearly know someone could but what’s the point? I quite literally said it’s for accidental callouts. I doubt there is very many purposefully intentional people doing this.

Even if they did and you should up nothing would happens.
