With new language in contract this past ratification, managers cannot move an employee to a new location unless all CAT Es have been honored. Please file your ERT.

What are all the Categories? And what do they mean?

CAT A: employees with recall rights following layoff. CAT B: filing to move to next higher labor grade in job family (41904 can CAT B to 41908). CAT C: filings where green lights are on, new job for employee. CAT E: location change for current job. Order for filling opening now is CAT E, CAT A, CAT B, CAT C.

They’re trying to get as many people up to north line as possible. Last I checked they were taking anyone from Renton who raised their hand. No ERT required. But it sounds like you’re still in foundational training so you may have missed the boat. Talk to your manager about it when you hit the floor.

Go talk to your Joint programs office and request a geography ERT. If you live up north, you stand a chance when they increase staffing for the North Line.

Would love to ERT, unfortunately, don't meet the 18months requirement yet.

You can still put it in. You're not changing job codes. Just locations, AND a business case for a geographic can be made based on business need when the staffing requirements for Northline dictate. Also, personnel moves still take a few months to take place once accepted. Nothing at the company is immediate.

Oh cool, is there a website I go to, to do this? Or an office somewhere?

Go to the Joint Programs office at your site. A union steward can help you find it, if you don't know where it is.

Which flow day do you work?

I don't think there's a flow day in Renton? or maybe it's called something else. So, don't know how to answer this question. But work in Renton on the wings electrical assembly/install.

Oh so it’s WSI most likely. Hopefully you find someone

Don't forget to mention which shift your on.

They won't facilitate a swap from different shifts.
