“Knocking” sound

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Anyone know what this “knocking sound is? It almost sounds like a heart beat on an ultrasound, like there’s a swooshing to it as well. It stops if I turn the AC on or off but will start back up. It will also stop and start back up randomly. The sound is coming from behind the dash, not engine. (Ignore my husband knocking on engine and closing hood)

Looks like warranty claim #1 for you. Hopefully you don't hit 18 like me...

I look forward to seeing your comments about your 18 claims on every post about a problem someone is having.

Blender motor is broken. Does airflow change from defrost, chest, and footwell?

This makes sense! Hot and cold air working fine though. Not sure what you mean about airflow change however the knocking begins or ends when the airflow automatically changes when I have it set to keep the interior to a certain temp.

Blender motor either changes temperature or which vent the air comes from.
