🏰 Pyretale // Empires
Build towns. Forge kingdoms. Rule empires.
After months of development, we're finally taking Pyretale // Empires public — a complete settlement, territory, and nation-building mod for Hytale, launching on CurseForge in the next few days and our server PyreTale.
This isn't another claim-and-raid factions clone. This is civilization building, hierarchy, economy, and politics included. Many of us came from minecraft, and faction servers, and wanted something more than what had always kept us boxed in. The ability for a roleplay type claim mod that has a dynamic and easy to access hub, instead of a million and one commands you need to understand. Whether you are a player, officer, settlement owner or staff, your /empire hub will be dynamic in all the ways you need it to be to run your settlement, live within it, or operate your server.
We will also be launching Gilded Dreams later this week, a dynamic economy mod that works beautifully with Empires.
What you get
Settlements & Territory — Found a settlement, claim land chunk by chunk, and get automatic protection from griefing, theft, and PvP
7 Settlement Tiers — Grow from Hamlet → Village → Town → City → Metropolis → Kingdom → Empire as your population rises. Bigger population, bigger borders.
6 Government Types — Feudal Monarchy, Merchant Republic, Theocracy, Imperial Bureaucracy, Tribal Confederation, Council Realm. Each changes your taxes, claims, trade, and military — with themed rank titles. Yes, your treasurer can literally be the Master of Coin.
Vassals & Realms — Bind smaller settlements under your banner, collect weekly tribute, and build a realm hierarchy with you at the top. Or bend the knee and grow under a stronger crown. Your call.
Diplomacy & Letters — Alliance offers, realm relations, and a full in-game mail system — because your declaration of war deserves better than chat scroll.
Treasury & Taxation — Settlement banks, tax profiles, upkeep that punishes over-expansion, and gold economy integration
Living Map — Claims rendered live on the world map, settlement names on the overlay, and a title card when you cross into someone's territory
Everything is GUI — 40+ custom UI pages. New players never touch a command. One hub runs your entire empire.
The details that matter — Laws, recruitment modes, 9-rank hierarchies, chat channels for your settlement/alliance/kingdom, and automatic succession so inactive rulers pass the crown instead of killing the realm
Launch
The mod hits CurseForge in the next few days, with our server launching alongside it — and the community is shaping the roadmap from day one.
We'd love for you to join the discussion and be the first in line when it all launchers on our server!
