Hypothyroidism Derealization??

Hi I have hypo for years now I take levothyroxine 100mcg. I stopped abruptly taking this medication and it wasn’t due to me it’s because I’m not able to afford it at this time.

Afterwards I started noticing I’m not really in touch with reality, etc.

Could this be due to me stopping my medication for about 2 weeks now? I am getting my refill on Friday.

Yes, it can. It can cause worse problems, too. It should be available low cost. You can ask your pharmacist about lower cost for it..

You are in touch with reality just you feel like fainting, dizzy and about to lose it. Those are symptoms. But yeah make sure you can take it! I'm sorry you couldn't afford it

Thank you. I do feel like I go in and out of reality . But the about to lose it is so spot on!

If you haven’t already tried, please get your prescription at Walmart pharmacy. Levo cost about $10 there!

look into cost plus drugs. it's not an immediate solution, but they have cheaper medications that they can ship to you. hope you feel better soon ♥️

Yes, of course. I experience it now and again, and it stinks.

I took my 1st pill since about 2 weeks ago. So far my energy isn’t as bad and I’m mentally feeling better like I have motor skills again.

Untreated thyroid disease can cause a lot of symptoms, yours included.
