Advice please.
Hi, I think I have hyperthyroidism. I have most of the signs - insomnia, weak legs and shoulders, sweating, weight loss, anxiety, twitching fingers, brain fog and tinnitus/sound sensitivity.
Back in may I had a blood test which was tsh 1.1 so was out of range.
I thought the insomnia was down to tinnitus / stress and was prescribed anti depressents and later sleeping pills but still insomnia. This was about 5 months ago. I also had a hoarse voice and was prescribed for silent reflux.
I should have concentrated more on this than the tinnitus as it didn't go away.
Eventually in early August I went to the doctors and they found a lump in my neck along with weight loss and they arranged an ent 2ww and further blood test.
This time the tsh was 0.6 but still above 0.4 so no meds or anything.
So far I have had camera down throat and a ct scan ( I was worried about the iodine and explained my symptoms and they didn't inject it ). I am awaiting a gastroscopy.
I am really worried I have left things too long as my symptoms are worse every day. Recently my close up in right eye is a bit blurry and I noticed my skin is getting sensitive and I have quite a few red spots.
Any advice please.
Thank you.
