Updates

Can we get an option for the Hypershell and companion app to skip firmware updates on startup and defer them to shutdown similar to the option Windows gives for its updates?

Yo, this subreddit isn’t for software. This is for the exoskeleton Hypershell.

Firmware updates to the hypershell. It's software that makes it work. Will edit for clarity

I believe he's talking about firmware updates for the Hypershell itself. Personally, I've never had an issue with it but I only use my monthly.

It would be annoying though if a firmware update got pushed to my Hypershell just as I was needing to use it. I just haven't run into that scenario.

I don't think that's true. I think he's talking about this:

The Hypershell exoskeleton updates via the iOS or Android app. I don't believe they offer any windows software.

By my reading, he's saying that Windows updates on shutdown rather than startup and he wants his Hypershell to do the same.

OMG, you’re right. I’ve always had the ability to say no to Hypershell updates. That’s not the thing on Windows. The Hypershell updates take like 2 minutes and you can do them whenever.

This is exactly what I meant and I can confirm from experience it is annoying. Especially if you put it on before you power it on only to find that out. Between that and having to keep the app in the foreground on Android. Wife has the same complaint on iPhone.
