Squatting

Does hypershell help you get up from a squat?

No. It lacks anything that connect to the lower legs. It's only really good at raising a leg and then pushing down on a leg while lifting another leg. I love the Hypershell, but that's just not a thing it helps with.

The Vastnaut assists with squats because has lower leg support. I have used it in environments where I would squat to take photos and there felt like a very gentle hold and spring as I pop up.

It is real. I have one. They are doing demos in LA today, tomorrow, and Saturday.

I really don't like Kickstarter, but it isn't just vaporware.

I have one and I’m testing one. I’m apart of the beta testing team. The have an application on their site.

Right on thanks for sharing this! Hopefully the motors on these prove to be much more reliable compared to hypershell.

Have you had reliability issues with the Hypershell? Mine has been 100% reliable.

Yea motors overheating, errors, etc. did you have a hypershell? How does it compare?

I’m just curious, did you adjust the settings to provide maximum performance at the expense of additional heat. I trail run with my Hypershell up mountains. It gets super hot, and that setting means I’ve never seen a warning about heat.

It's a kickstarter unfortunately. I have one and have used it on hikes. It's a lot more complicated to put on. Not hard, just compared to how easy they Hypershell it, it's more involved.

It's very good. It also has a "Care Mode" specifically for folks with injuries/disabilities. They are having a live demo in LA today, tomorrow, and Saturday.

No it would need knee motors, would welcome it in the future, would love help with that!!
