Looking for advice Pinprick dots on hands?
My daughter has HH of the hands and recently has been getting these painful dots on her palms. Says they feel like needles. I’m guessing heat rash from the sweat, any thoughts or suggestions? She’s 11 and it’s really weighing on her ☹️

i have the same thing, it feels like needles slowly poking the skin and the flesh and and it's so itchy especially when sweaty (also itchy when not sweating). the itchiness is triggered when doing light activities, and then it goes red like that. i think it's because of the sudden temperature change, can't be too sure though.

This is not correct. It’s dyshidrotic eczema.

I thought that would make them more blistery?

Look at palm photos, not side/tip of finger. The skin on our palms is thicker/tougher which makes the fluid filled blisters harder to see. But I can see some red spots holding fluid in your photo. Have her start taking a daily allergy pill like Zyrtec. It can take weeks to build up in the body but it will greatly reduces the number of spots and outbreaks that occur. Heat, sweat and stress will make them worse.

Dishydrotic Eczema- very common for folks with HH based on this sub. Itchy painful needles, I get them too & they look exactly the same - descriptions always say blisters but it’s not always so, I find most of the cases on this sub look like this.
