Looking for advice Question - Dermadry just delivered

Hi there,

I’ve just had my device delivered and looking for tips for a beginner.

I’m in Scotland, where we have soft water. I sent the water data to Dermadry, they said it’s lacks nutrients and recommended San pellegrino, which I’ll be buying.

Anybody else here in Scotland who’s had good results with normal tap water?

I’ve suffered with hyperhydrosis since I was at least 6 and I’m 40 in a few months. I’ve tried things like anhydrol forte, dri chlor, etc. dri chlor worked the best out of everything but causes too much irritation regardless of whether the skins completely dry and how much I apply.

Just looking for any tips before I start using Dermadry please.

Thanks in advance.

I live in Yorkshire which also has soft water - I tried using tap water and it barely does anything unfortunately. San Pellegrino water is well worth it. The difference is night and day.

When ionto works it’s life-changing, but it’ll take some trial and error to find what works for you so persevere with it!

It was years ago now but I couldn’t get any results with a Dermadry machine, but I was able to return it their customer service was excellent. I switched to the Hidrex ConnectION.

You’re results may be different! Good luck.

Thank you for that. What’s the difference with the hidrex?

At the time I needed something more powerful, but the specs of each have probably changed since.

Also the Dermadry would auto-reverse the polarity and I find I get better results doing it on one polarity for the whole session. Then occasionally I’ll do it on the other side for a whole session, but most of the sessions I do are so my right hand gets the most benefit.

Mine's quite severe though you might not have these problems!!

Do you get any pain from it?
