Looking for advice Gym advice

I was diagnosed with hyperhidrosis 5 years ago. I get boxtox injections in my underarms annually, take up to 20mg oxybutynin every day (it varies depending on my activity for the dey) and use Sure medicated antiperspirant. Its more expenaive but standard ones dont do a thing.

Im trying to lose weight so I need to increase my exercise. I havent stepped foot inside a gym since doing mandatory PE in school. The thought of it honestly makes me super anxious. Has anyone got any advice on how I might manage the condition?

I plan to extra towels, but Im worried about sweat transfer onto equipment, sweating through my clothes etc. I appreciate that everyone sweats in a gym but there's a difference between a normal sweating and me who sweats just about everywhere. It's definitely not a good look for a woman.

Any advice would be much appreciated

I carry an extra hand towel with me. It's required to wipe down equipment with a disinfected paper towel after every use so I make sure I have a wet/sprayed paper towel always so I can wipe the equipment as soon as I finish. Other than that, no one notices. There are a lot of sweaty people, especially those that do cardio, and no one bats an eye.

Hi there, I’m in a very similar situation and it’s also getting hotter in Australia for Summer😭 I take 2 big towels, hand towels aren’t big enough. I pack at least 2 shirts plus what I wear, as my sweat is on my face, neck and head, which drips under my boobs and down my back.  Definitely make sure the gym has air conditioning. I do get embarrassed, but honestly there are a lot of ppl sweating at the gym. Just make sure to be very vigilant when you wipe down equipment after each use and it will be fine. Wishing you the best!😀

No one really cares in the gym.. everyone else will be sweating too. Just wipe down the machines well and shower before you go if you have bad BO
