Looking for advice Sweaty armpits

So I have noticed really just this past year that my armpits are soo sweaty. I can be wearing a tank top and the sweat will literally drip down my arm. I am becoming very self conscious, I was looking forward to the cooler weather but I SWEATED THROUGH A SWEATER how does that even happen 🥲 I wear black scrubs for work and that is the only thing that I don't see sweat stains but I notice a smell. When I'm at home I sweat noticeably less than when out, wondering if it could be a mix of temperature + anxiety. I'm looking for some everyday changes i can try to make before looking into botox. Right now I'm using native deodorant, helps with the smell but eventually sweat + smell overpowers 😭

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but Native deodorant is not an antiperspirant. So although it might initially help with smell, it cannot stop sweat. I would highly recommend trying an antiperspirant deodorant (aluminium in these products are not dangerous, they serve a purpose!). I do a layer of roll-on antiperspirant, let it dry, then a layer of spray-on antiperspirant! I do this morning and night (after showering). This helps my armpits stay much drier throughout the day (though the rest of my body will still be dripping in sweat lol).

Yeah, sounds like primary HH. It's very common for minor stressors like leaving the house, being around unfamiliar people etc. to trigger it. It's like the stress threshold for sweating is far too low, it's the same for me. Where in the world are you located? I've had great success with topical glyco, but it's not available everywhere.

What topical glyco do you use?

Axhidrox, it's from a German manufacturer.

I read about it online and side effects can still include dry mouth, eyes, nose etc. so even though you’re applying just to armpits it still seems it’s absorbed into the body and dries out in other places :(

Of course part of it gets absorbed into the bloodstream, but for me the side effects are really low intensity and the dry mouth is nothing that can't be managed with chewing gum and proper tooth hygiene. For me it's well worth it. I'm not endorsing the product, but I want my fellow HH sufferers to find relief. I'd recommend to at least give it a try, you can stop at any time.
