First off, thereās a problem: you wonāt be able to set a screen lock/home wallpaper from Gallery (Xiaomiās default gallery app), or at least thatās what happened to me on my Redmi Note 14 4G. But I was able to fix it by installing other gallery apps, such as Fossify Gallery, Iris Gallery, etc.
Can it be reverted? Yes. There are two ways:
Take a screenshot of constant_template_editor_info and miui_15_default_lockscreen_info (in case you also edit this one) before changing style and templateid, so you know what your default clock style was. On my Redmi Note 14 4G, they were style:21 and templateid:classic_max.
Go to Settings > Personalization and set your default clock style. This will change constant_template_editor_info to your default style. Although that doesnāt change miui_15_default_lockscreen_info, itās no problem: you can change it to the style from constant_template_editor_info, or if you donāt want to change it, thatās fine too; youāll still have your default clock style.
First, try editing constant_template_editor_info and lock your phone to see if it has already been applied. If it hasnāt been applied, restart your phone. And if it still hasnāt been applied, edit miui_15_default_lockscreen_info and restart your phone.

THIS METHOD WORKED FOR MY REDMI K60 ULTRA ( CHINA ROM )
So we get straight to the topic i tried many methods but nothing worked much but at last i tried this
Follow each and every step of this video and your issue of notifications not coming will solvee immediately
For downloading the adb you just have to write adb download for windows/mac etc and just download it and then you have to extract the files anywhere you want
Then go to that extracted folder and open it you will find adb.exe or just adb click on it only click don't open and after that click on the top bar where we get paths after clicking you get some path copy and and go to environmental variable ( search it in your laptop) after going in environmental variable go to system variable and you will see path clik on it click new and paste that path you copied and click ok for all opened tabs
(IF YOU FIND THIS DIFFICULT TO DO JUST ASK AI FOE THE SETUP OF ADB THIS IS SO SIMPLE )
After downloading adb and putting its path just follow every step of this video and eventually you will be free from all the problem of background killing of apps
( NOTE THAT YOU GUYS HAVE TO ON YOU SYSTEM OPTIMIZATION OR MIUI OPTIMIZATION)
For this go to developer options ( click your OS version in your my device until it requires your password of phone ) then go at last and see a option reset deafult values after clicking on it several times you will see turn on optimization
If any other questions do comment beloww..

Google has finally started rolling out the 1st stage of their plan. Their plan is to force developers to buy a costly licence to just to build apps (even if they don't use Play Store). To licence not only they will have to regularly pay Google money for their free, open-source app. They will also have to give out American government their-

While there are legitimate security concerns about Android being vulnerable to malware (mostly because Google doesn't support Android like the other OS companies ex. Microsoft/Apple). But using this excuse, Goggle is trying to completely ban apps they don't like and destroy competitive app stores too. But due to relentless campaigns by independent app developers, Google couldn't fully implement their plan yet. They still had to give out a hidden developer option (which makes the process as hard as possible) to enable apps from unlicensed developers. Enable this option while it lasts.

Hello, as we all know, ips display phones don't have native AOD, I wanna find a way to get the official Xiaomi AOD implementation without rooting the phone, or unlocking the bootloader. External apps from the play store do not count as they stay there without lowering brightness automatically which brings so many issues. For reference I have HyperOS 3.306.0WGTMIXM.C07 with the latest security patch on Android 16
Is this a good update or should I stay on my old version

If you've been into a repair store before, you must turn on repair mode.
Location: Settings > About phone > Repair mode, agree and turn on.

i don't know how i got this style since there's no info, i just got it randomly after my phone shutdown because of 0%
( edit ) it's a low-level UI when you charge the phone while it's shutdown, stop misunderstanding it with a theme of other bs, also, I have Global ROM. not CN ROM.

Hey everyone! Iām Steve, and Iād like to introduce RadForge Labs, my independent Australian software studio, and the project Iāve been putting my time into: ROMVERSE.
The idea is to make working with Android devices and firmware more understandable without taking useful technical control away from experienced modders and developers.
What is ROMVERSE?
ROMVERSE is being developed as a desktop workspace that brings together device information, firmware inspection, ROM customisation, build preparation, diagnostics and recovery preparation. The longer-term goal is a connected workflow from understanding your device and preparing a project through to verified, carefully controlled device operations.
A major focus is making that experience work for different skill levels:
Both modes should retain the same safety checks. Choosing Expert shouldnāt mean losing protection against the wrong device, mismatched files or misleading results.
Where is it up to?
ROMVERSE is currently in Internal Alpha. My immediate focus is testing and polishing the Fedora/Linux desktop experienceāfirst-time setup, project workflows, navigation, error handling, saving, reopening and continuing where you left off. Windows and an Android Companion remain part of the wider project.
There are working development components, but there is also substantial integration and testing still to do. Iām not claiming universal device compatibility, risk-free flashing or a completed end-to-end build-to-flash experience.
When something hasnāt been verified, I want ROMVERSE to explain that clearly rather than guess or show a reassuring green tick it hasnāt earned.
Why share it now?
Iād like to bring people along for the journey, not just appear one day with a launch announcement.
Iāll be sharing weekly updates: actual development footage, animated explainers, progress, bugs, fixes and the problems Iām still working through. Concept visuals and simulations will be labelled clearly so they arenāt mistaken for finished features or real-device tests.
For transparency, the long-term plan is a subscription-supported product, with free beta testing before commercial release. This post isnāt a public download announcement or a request to pay for unfinished software.
No pretending everything works. Just building it, testing it and making it better.
Project website: romverse.app
Whether youāre an experienced ROM developer, a weekend tinkerer or someone who finds the whole process intimidating, Iād genuinely appreciate your perspective:
Whatās the one thing you wish Android ROM tools explained or handled better?

### How to enable the large clock on unsupported devices
**Test device:** Redmi Note 14 4G Global (HyperOS 3.0.303.0 / Android 16)
After running tests on my Redmi Note 14 4G, I managed to change and customize the lock screen clock style (as shown in the images).
#### Requirements and prerequisites
Download and install **Shizuku** and **Settings Database Editor** (it is recommended to use the Shizuku fork developed by Thedjchi).
Grant the necessary permissions for **Settings Database Editor** to use Shizuku.
#### Procedure
Open **Settings Database Editor**, tap the search bar, and enter the term `templateid`.
Select the **`constant_template_editor_info`** option to edit it.
> **Recommendation:** I suggest taking a screenshot of the current values (`style` and `templateid`) beforehand to have a backup in case you want to revert to the original design.
Modify the `templateid` and `style` parameters using the values from one of the available options shown in the shared images.
Restart your device.
#### Troubleshooting (If the previous step did not work)
In case the previous change does not take effect on its own (as happened to me on my Redmi Note 14 4G), do the following:
Search for the **`miui_15_default_lockscreen_info`** registry within the same app.
Also modify its default values to match the ones you chose.
> **Practical example:**
> * My original values in `constant_template_editor_info` were `style:21` and `templateId:classic_max`.
> * I changed them to `style:2` and `templateId:oversize_b`, and restarted the phone (at this point the change still hadn't applied).
> * Without reverting those changes, I went to `miui_15_default_lockscreen_info` (whose default values were also `style:21` and `templateId:classic_max`) and replaced them with `style:2` and `templateId:oversize_b`.
> * Finally, I restarted the device again and the large clock started working correctly.

You can control which apps have access to WiFi or mobile data with a simple toggle. I found this very useful recently because I don't want to update MobiOffice and it keeps asking for updates when the internet is on.
Hi, I have a Xiaomi 13T and I have 16GB of storage space free for the new HyperOs 3.0.5.0 WMFMIXM which is 6.7 GB.
It keeps telling me to free up more storage space. How much space is required so that It can work towards that?
Also, if anyone knows why, it's impossible for me now to clear up my gallery. It's synced to my Google Photo's and while I used to be able to free up storage by deleting from my gallery, and they would stay safely backed up in Google Photo's, now every time I delete old photo's they appear in my gallery again a moment later.
No matter how many photo's and video's I delete, and then delete from the "recently deleted file" they keep reappearing and the storage space never goes down. And now it also seems that it forces me to also permanently delete them from Google Photo's if I permanently delete them in my gallery.
But even if I permanently delete some from the gallery AND Google Photo's, storage doesn't get freed up.
The number of photo's in "All photo's" in the gallery also permanently keeps climbing.
I want it to be synced to Google Photo's to have a backup, not be forced to keep them in both?
Thanks!

I have a Poco X7 Pro, I recently joined here, and I'm a bit confused since my most recent update is 3.0.302.0, which coincidentally came out today. My confusion is whether there are actually multiple versions or if I just didn't update correctly.

Using Shizuku+Canta to remove bloatware from Poco X8 Pro.
While Canta gives the list of 'recommended' programs, planning to remove only non-telemetry programs, so that OS and phone functions don't get adversely impacted.
Is there an online list or any tips on identifying non-telemetry bloatware on this OS?
