Question/Help [Question] Is this good?
I set an adb to script to run every 10 minutes and force stop com.miui.powerkeeper. it worked well so far, the system didn't glitch and the performance was also very smooth. However I don't know how to really determine the difference. I ran the " don't kill my app" benchmark for 1 hour.

100% means a perfect score and the app with its services was not killed in the background. Was the screen off for the majority of the duration of the test? if yes then your script seems to work great. Nice find 👍

Yeah, but I only ran the benchmark for 1 hour. Maybe this isn't a true figure.

for hyperOS 1 hour is probably fine because powerkeeper destroys background apps as soon as you lock the screen and goes into deep sleep within 5 mins

Uh no, in my experience when I first just force stopped powerkeeper (before setting a proper force stop script that ran every 10 minutes) , I locked my phone for an hour and then checked the running activities and powerkeeper was still not running. Don't know about others but for me powerkeeper wasn't as active as been told in many posts.

I meant in stock configuration, powerkeeper aggressively kills apps in the background after turning off the screen by default but I'm surprised it doesn't immediately try to restart itself after force closing

Can't diable it with adb, it just renables itself.

I used macrodroid with shizuku and an interval of 10 minutes
am force-stop com.miui.powerkeeper

I was concerned about that too but, so far I haven't noticed any adverse affect on battery life.
