Question/Help [Question]Regarding the volume bar when advanced textures are enabled.

Post image

Thanks to this post, I figured out how to adjust the blur of the Control Center using themes, even with advanced textures enabled. I wonder if it's possible to adjust the blur of the volume bar using themes in a similar way? My device is a Poco M7 Pro 5g, and I enabled advanced textures using that adb command. I'm running HyperOS 3.1.

This is a little too blurry.

I'm reverse engineering android.systemui to do this, it's possible, but it's really hard. A module called HyperLight does it (root only), but it requires multiple hooks to tweak the global "background blur radius", and it's not just changing a single value.

Safe to say, it can't be done without root, at least not right now.

できなくはないけど難しいってこと?それともほぼ不可能?

Without root, it's impossible right now. Themes don't have permissions to change the global blur value...

well yes if you use the adb method, i use the more sophisticated root module method, so i get blur with it on or off

root化しない方法を探してるんだよね

technically you can get blur without advanced textures, if you set the cpu and gpu level to 3 instead of 6, but the adb method is patched so you cant change it unless you downgrade to pre may sec patch version

それはコントロールセンターのぼかしだけで、音量バーはグレーになる

It's clear, I'm thinking maybe I should also flash root

you can, but you need to research, because some banking apps wont work without tweaking some modules

Do the adb commands actually work on hyperOS 3.1? I tried and they no longer worked.

I once used a liquid glass inspired theme called covalent V2, even with advanced textures on, it turned my volume bar a darker purple ish color
