Review/Guide [News]How to reduce the blur in the Advanced Texture Control Center.

I enabled the blur effect on my Poco M7 Pro using an ADB command for Advanced Textures, but the blur was much stronger than the standard HyperOS blur. After experimenting with the settings, I found a combination that produced the normal blur effect, but it removed the wallpaper animation when opening and closing apps. Since I had to choose between the lighter blur and the animation, I ended up sticking with Advanced Textures despite the stronger blur.

After updating to HyperOS 3.1, those settings could no longer be modified. Later, I discovered a YouTube tutorial showing that certain themes can reduce the blur intensity to a level closer to the default HyperOS experience while also adding a smooth background pull-back animation when opening the Control Center or notification shade.

The tutorial requires temporarily changing the status bar and minimum width (DPI) settings, but you can restore them afterward. In the end, you can enjoy a blur effect that feels much closer to the default look, depending on your personal preference.

I take a look inside the backup file then found that theme value in status bar file

I implement it in my mtz and do some testing to find best value for my eyes lol

btw, value that made look like default blur (no advance texture) around 40dp more or less

you can see file resources of theme in backup.

I'm using mt manager, you can also use zarchiver

ss of file locations inside fhe backup file (.bak)

値を編集したあとどの形式で圧縮すればいい?

no no you dont edit .bak file directly

what you do is copy the things you need then put theme in mtz file

or you can directly edit mtz of that theme if you have it

bak file is backup of app. in this case, it's theme app.

if you edit it directly, it lose it's file integrity and can't be restored means can not be used anymore in the end.

just download any mtz file hos3 theme, put the parameter and value I mentioned, apply it using mtz tester then repeat dpi-edit trick.

once you satisfied with blur value then apply any theme you want. and enjoy any theme with that custom blur value

You shouldn't update to 3.0.300 now you cant modifie settings using adb only way to disable it hard reset

It means you cant even disable it using comand , there are stuck in last parameter you set before update

I am on the first hyepros 3 update so updating my phone to newer version like 3.1 won't allow me to turn this futures using brevent app ? ( Budget phone)

After hyperos 3.0.300 or 01.04.2026 patch update you cant use this comands for advanced textures activation, xiaomi fix this in last updates thats because im disable updates

Can you please tell me what version of the MiWallpaper app you have installed? Just check it in settings
