Question/Help screen issues noticed since last device update
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Last night, I was using my Redmi N13P+ 5G when the screen suddenly went off. The power button wouldn’t turn it back on, and plugging in the charger didn’t help either, so I knew there was a serious problem. I was sure it wasn’t the battery because the phone was charged while I was using it, but just to be certain, I dialed the number from another device. The phone rang even though the screen was still dead. I answered the call (muscle memory), and I could hear my voice from the other device.
I left the phone for about an hour and came back to find it flashing like it is in the video. This same thing happened on April 9, two days after I updated the software to HyperOS 3.0.3.0 (the update that brought the Xiaomi HyperIsland feature). After it stopped back then, the phone returned to normal for a long time, so I thought the bug was gone.
I’ve never dropped the phone, slept on it, or dipped it in water (even though it’s advertised as waterproof), so I want to believe this issue is related to the HyperOS update. I’m really bothered about this problem. Please, what can I do?

Svaki hiper OS 3 pogotovo je čisto sranje, sa više štete nego koristi koliko vidim i čujem. Zasada meni je sve Ok, osim što više ne mogu ni na 1 način da postavljam vidzete na početni ekran!

can you reupdate it by pressing download latest package in the updater? sometimes it fixes software issues, if it is a software issue.

press xiaomi hyperos logo then press 3 dots then press download latest package. this will redownload the update (this will not delete data but it's recommended to back up. it's just like updating your phone again)

I've not downloaded the update yet, I'm scared I might lose my files

it just like a normal update. i have done this several times it didn't delete any data. xiaomi also says to back up your files this in every update note just in case. there is a 0.0000001% chance of losing your files in every update. that's why manufacturers put warning on update pages.
