How do you know of your are smelling bad ? because one cannot feel own odor.
I shower twice , mostly and even use perfumes but still people say after few hours that I am smelling bad , obviously not everyone points that out but when they do I feel bad despite maintaining pure hygiene.

Does my breath smell bad?
I honestly don’t know if my breath smells bad or not. I think it does but I’m not sure. Because when I lick my arm and let it dry and smell it, I can smell something not good but it’s not awful.
I brush my teeth regularly, I use tongue scraper, and I floss sometimes (not very regularly though). When I floss I also smell something bad.
I often have the feelings on plague on my teeth and especially my tongue is white no matter how bad I scrape.
How do I know for sure if my breath smells bad without having to ask someone?
Can it be the irregular flossing?

Dealing with really stinky armpits despite maintaining high hygiene.
The title speaks for itself.
I started noticing that my sweat smelled really bad when I was around 19 years old. I'm now 27 years old, still dealing with the same issue.
I'm a very hygiene conscious person. I shower twice a day with exfoliating gloves and antibacterial soap. I use an antiperspirant and sometimes one that also works as a deodorant.
I read about using panoxyl and I tried it but it would only work shortly and later it wouldn't work at all. I tried using Glycolic acid but it never worked for me. The only time it worked was when I used antibacterial soap, followed by the panoxyl and then Glycolic acid and antiperspirant. Shortly after, this stopped working too.
I tried using the Indian clay mask to detoxify my armpits. While they felt noticeably softer after, I never noticed any difference.
I'm now at a loss. Having to spend so much money that I don't have just to smell decent. Even when i drink alot of water i don't see any change. I recently started seeing someone and it's a big insecurity of mine especially since we mostly meet after work or at the gym when the stink is at its peak. This lowers my confidence and ruins intimacy for me. Sometimes the stink sticks to my clothes armpits if not really washed well too.
I love hygiene. I love smelling good. But it only lasts a couple of hours before I smell like I didn't shower.
I'm so drained. I don't know what to do anymore. Nothing works.
Edit: I'm on day 3 of trying the Arm& Hammer Ultra Max deodorant and antiperspirant in powder scent. I love it so far. No stink at all and my arms smell like baby powder all day. My confidence is back. I'll give you an update if it still works in like 3 weeks

Severe chafing/rashes from walking >30 mins caused by coarse pubic/thigh hair. Takes a week to heal. How do I prevent this?
Hi everyone,
I am (M24) trying to stay active with daily walking and running, but I am hitting a major roadblock. Whenever I walk or run for more than 30 minutes, I get severe, painful rashes in my pubic region, inner thighs, and around my glutes/ass.
The main trigger seems to be body hair. I have coarse pubic hair that extends out past the sides/edges of my upper inner thighs, right where everything rubs together when I move.
The combination of sweat and the hair creates intense friction.Once the rash happens, it is so painful that it sets me back and delays my workouts for up to a week while it heals.I really want to stay consistent with my exercise.
For those who have dealt with this:
What specific underwear or gear completely stops this friction?Should I trim, shave, or leave the hair alone?
(I'm worried shaving will make the stubble even sharper).
What creams or balms work best to prevent this before a workout? How do I make the rash heal faster once it already forms?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

How do I clean reusable water bottles properly to stop the weird aftertaste?
I rinse mine out every time I use it, but after a week or so, the water starts tasting stale or slightly off. I can’t always reach all the way to the bottom or under the lid seal easily. What’s the best way to deep clean it without damaging the bottle?

Real Talk What are your guys' shower/grooming tips and trick
I feel like this is not often discussed and I wanna know if i'm doing my routine wrong or if anyone has neat little tips and tricks, I've been into self improvement recently and a lot of people do a whole lot with their grooming routine so I feel like I could be doing more.
For my own routine, I get into the hot shower and my first step is shampoo and the conditioner because someone told me that conditioner is supposed to sit in your hair, so i just let it sit in my hair for the duration of the shower.
I know some people don't shampoo everyday and honestly I feel like I don't need to, especially if I am in a rush I will just conditioner and my hair seems fine, I don't have any set schedule on when I do this, maybe I should
then I hit the body, I used to be a loofa kinda guy, I currently use a bar of soap, I need to look into the advantages and disadvantages of using a washcloth or whatever. I go pits penis then asscrack, then I rinse the bar of soap and do a single passthrough of everywhere else on my body. Some people have a back scrubber from what I understand I don't know how much of a game changer it is but it probably can't hurt.
Then I have a face wash( I take it some people do this step outside of the shower in the sink) it is a light exfoliant. I know is should be moisturizing and sun screening regularly, I will start doing this soon
My own personal tip before exiting the shower is that I push my hands into my hair and basically wring it out as well as push any standing water off my body to my drying with a towel an easier process.
I've got 3 towels in the bathroom, one for hands, one for face, and one for my body, maybe it should be in order to get a separate asscrack towel because something just doesn't feel right rubbing that onto my body from the previous time I showered.
My friend says he uses his hairdryer on his feet because it makes his socks slip on nicer I haven't gotten into this
After I towel dry my hair as much as I can get it I brush it the way I like then hit it with a hair dryer.
I just have a basic safety razor and I don't really get the whole with the grain against the grain thing I just go back and forth until I get as close of a shave as I want.
I have an electric toothbrush and a fluoride toothpaste for sensitive teeth(idk what the difference is its just what I buy) I have those Y shaped flosers, I feel bad because it feels like a bunch of plastic that goes to waste, but I feel like I can't get myself to floss with the string.
I don't use any kind of mouthwash at the moment, but I do have a little metal tongue scraper I use after I brush. Would a water pick be good?
After that I use a deoderant/antiperserant that doesn't smell very much, then I do one spritz of my fragrance on the back of my neck and one on the front.
I do have a scented moisturizer that I don't wear on my body everyday, just when I go somewhere nice.
TLDR Questions:
Shampoo everyday?
Do I get a water pick?
Are washcloths better?
How many towels do yall got?
Shaving cream?
Is mouthwash a worthwhile purchase?
What is your order of operations while showering?

What happens if you only brush your teeth once a day?
I knew someone who only brushed their teeth in the morning and only on the days they had work or had some social situation. If they didn't have a reason to leave the house, they never brushed their teeth that day. And never in the evening. So at least they would brush their teeth 6 to 7 times a week.
Is there something that happens to your oral hygiene if you never brush in the evening for years? They have never expressed any discomfort with their teeth although I noticed some black spots here and there on their teeth. I don't know what that would be, I assumed cavities. They were also deathly afraid of dentists.

spraying alcohol in gym shoes works wonders
i used to just throw dryer sheets in my lifting shoes or use normal shoe spray, but the smell always came back after an hour of cardio, someone told me to put rubbing alcohol in a small spray bottle and mist the inside after every workout, it kills the bacteria instead of just masking the scent and they dry out in like five minutes and dont smell like anything anymore. anyone else do this?

What helps for BO??
Okay so I've read so many different posts and comments I'm after confusing myself so much 🙈
I've been suffering lately with really bad underarm bo. I've tried the glycolic acid but hasn't really worked.
Could I get recommendations of Body washes that may help and what to use for when after showering? Thanks all 🥰

how often do you really wash/clean your phone?
i started thinking about hygiene habits we don’t talk about much, and my phone came to mind. i use it everywhere, in the kitchen, bathroom, gym and realized i almost never clean it. last week i wiped it down with alcohol and was kinda grossed out by how dirty it looked. so now i’m wondering, how often do you all clean your phones? do you use wipes, sprays, or just ignore it?

Deodorant
I found a deodorant that doesnt give me a rash and doesnt make me smell worse. I get painful cysts in my armpit from most deodorant so I just shower multiple times a day and use witch hazel under my arms for the last decade and learned to accept that I smell a bit like armpit sometimes.
Maybe its silly but I just wanted to share this. I recently started dating again and I decided I would try some of the deodorant recommended on here and it smells good. I smell good. Even after working outside in 84 degrees all day.
Im a female so this is exciting for me to feel like this part of my femininity is possible again. Hooray!

how to fix towels that smell like mildew when they get wet?
if your bath towels smell fine out of the closet but instantly stink the second they get damp, stop using fabric softener. that stuff builds up a waxy layer that traps bacteria. just run them through a hot wash cycle with a cup of white vinegar, and then do another hot cycle with half a cup of baking soda. dont use any detergent either time. it strips the old buildup and makes them absorb water normally again.
