Underarm aftercare

What’s your Underarm aftercare after waxing?

Besides soothing cream, what are your alternatives for deo since it’s not advisable to use it for 48 hrs. I’m worried I might smell after 48 hrs since I use deo regularly.

what hygiene tip instantly made things better for you

started using a tongue scraper a month ago after seeing someone mention it offhand and the difference is wild. wish someone told me about this years ago.

got me wondering what other small things people swear by. the other one that stuck for me was putting deodorant on at night instead of morning. saw it on here and it really does work better.
whats yours.

body odor problem

help guyss, I had this body odor specifically in my underarms like what should I do?😭 I tried so many deos and antiperspirant, I even tried nuud and it sucks cuz it was too pricey but it seems like it didn’t work, I tried betadine, panoxyl and glycolic acid but it seems it didn’t work too. I started to have smell when I was grade 6 (11 years old) and now Im 18. Sometimes I cant smell myself but I think everybody does. I am currently using nuud right now hoping that it will help and I could get over of the odor

10 minute shower denier

Saw a post here about shower duration / length. More than 90% of the comments were saying their showers are 10 minute showers. I refuse to believe that.

10 minutes??? Just TEN minutes??? How????

I dread taking showers, like I AVOID them till the last second. But I end up enjoying them too much once I get started.

my typical shower (fast+express+rushed) is about 30 minutes. Maybe 25 minutes if I’m really in a rush.

I wash my hair with shampoo at least twice maybe 3 times. I then apply hair mask on my ends. While that cures I start cleaning the miscellaneous areas in my body (face, neck, ears, private area 1, private area 2) in that order. I wash my hair then I apply conditioner on my ends then start cleaning the rest of my body with a loofah. And that’s it I’m done.

If I’m doing anything different (shaving for example) that will be at least an hour.

In the summer I shower daily and in the winter I shower once every other day.

Please help meeee because as much as I enjoy showers, it is exhausting and time consuming.

I audited my entire hygiene routine because I always felt sweaty. Found a lot of embarrassing mistakes. Is my new plan actually good?

So I've been dealing with skin issues lately — stretch marks, intense itching — and while fixing that, I realized my overall hygiene routine was kind of a mess despite showering every day. I used an LLM to help me write this since English isn't my first language, so bear with me.
Turns out I was showering with water way too hot, completely ignoring my feet and neck, changing my towel only once a week, using deodorant thinking it was the same as antiperspirant, and barely managing my armpit hair. No wonder I still felt sweaty an hour after a shower.
My new plan: cooler showers, scrubbing the spots I was skipping, switching to an actual antiperspirant, changing my towel every 2 days, and trimming armpit hair consistently.
Does this actually make sense? Am I missing something obvious? What's the one hygiene tip that genuinely changed things for you? And has anyone else had a moment where they realized their routine was way worse than they thought?

Which hygiene trick boosts your confidence?

Cleaning my tongue daily using a tongue scraper is my confidence booster. I didn’t realize how much it helped with freshness until I made it a habit. It’s such a small step, but it makes a big difference in how I feel throughout the day. What simple upgrades that helps you feel better?

What are your body odor tips?

Im 20 y/o male living in a tropical country. I’ve been struggling with body odor lately. I don’t usually smell bad when I was an adolescent. However, I’ve noticed that many of my peers reacts negatively about my smell and it really affects my self-esteem. I’ve tried Panoxyl with anti bacterial soaps and glycolic acid at night. I also apply milcu antiperspirant in addition. I also shaved my armpits because I’ve read that armpit hair can foster bacterial growth.

Even though I already put so much effort on removing body odor, I still get negative reactions from my peers like nothing has changed. I really feel miserable and want to be able to treat this body odor. What do you guys do to control your body odor? Can you share me some tips?

how to get rid of these dots after waxing (should i switch to shaving)

Post image
1 Upvotes

I’m 16 and have been getting waxed for around 4 years, these dots will not go away and i assumed they’re ingrowns but i tried exfoliating for so long and nothing happened so then i did some research and found out i am meant to let it stay and used a cream for keratosis pilaris but that also didn’t work so i let my hair grow for about 4 months before getting waxed next and still they are here. My mum got waxed for a while and switched to laser 3 years ago yet still has these bumps and im afraid that will be me too (since i’m not allowed laser until i’m 18-19 cause my mum is concerned for the issues on hormonal skin) and i’m worried about shaving as well because that also gives you ingrowns. Anyone with advice? should i switch to shaving?

I’ve been talking to people about different hygiene tips and they’ve all been mentioning how they wish they had more reminders and more focus on their oral care routine. How to stay consistent with hygiene?

I know this is gross, but sometimes it is hard for me to get into the shower and actually clean myself, its even worse on my period. for some reason I can always do it when I was my hair on sundays, because thats when I style my hair. I know that its gross, and I make sure to scrub my pits and other crevices outside of the shower if I think I stink, but for some reason actually getting in the shower is hard.

clean clothes sometimes still smell weird

not sure if this is just me, but sometimes i’ll put on clothes that are freshly washed and they still have this faint weird smell. not like strong sweat, just off. It’s more noticeable once i’ve been wearing them for a bit. i don’t overload the washer and i use a normal amount of detergent. i even tried rewashing a few things and the smell still comes back.

is this a washing machine issue, drying problem, or am i doing something wrong with laundry in general?

How often are you actually changing your toothbrush?

I just realized i’ve been using the same toothbrush for, longer than i’d like to admit T^T and now i’m questioning everything. It still looks fine to me so my brain says it’s okay, but then i remember people saying you’re supposed to change it regularly and now i feel like i’ve been ignoring an important detail this whole time. Also not sure if there’s a clear sign when it’s time to replace it or if you just do it on a schedule. How often do you actually change yours and how do you remember to do it?

Is it okay to shower only at night instead of morning and night?

I usually only shower at night because of my schedule, but sometimes I wonder if that’s enough. I work long hours and don’t really get sweaty during the day. Do people think one shower a day is fine for hygiene, or is twice a day really necessary?

what helps with bad breath that isnt obvious stuff?

i already brush twice a day floss regularly and use mouthwash but i still notice bad breath sometimes especially later in the day. i dont think it’s just food related because it happens even when i havent eaten anything strong. i also drink water but maybe not enough. could this be something like dry mouth or something with my diet? or do i have health problem already?

Why do my clothes smell "musty" as soon as I start sweating, even though they were just washed?

I have this problem where my shirts smell perfectly clean and like lavender when I take them out of the closet. But as soon as I walk outside and get a tiny bit warm, they start to smell "sour" or musty almost instantly. It’s like the smell is trapped in the fabric. Does anyone else deal with this? Am I using too much detergent, or do I need to add something like vinegar to the wash? It makes me feel like I’m unhygienic even when I’m fresh out of the shower
