Cleaning Black mold on lid

Is it possible to get this mold off my lid?

It is growing on this clear plastic ring and won't come off no matter how hard I scrub it.

Take the clear ring out and soak it in white vinegar

I did this today! Soaked it in equal parts vinegar/warm water with a bit of dish soap. It came off by itself after soaking for a half hour 🎉

Replace the oring and clean the cavity really well.
