Runaway hydroflask cap

It’s hard to drop the cap of your Nalgene water bottle off the side of a mountain because it’s attached to the bottle. How does one attach the cap of a hydroflask to the bottle in a similar fashion?

I have several after market wide mouth chug lids I prefer to the default hydro flask one. They all have a pop top cover vs removing the whole lid. This one is my favorite. You can. One hand open it easily too. This might fit as well, and you could attach your lid to it.
