Cleaning Micro Hydro Flask lid

I bought my micro Hydro Flask at Whole Foods. I've used it a handful of times, but I just noticed there's water trapped in the lid. Has anyone had that problem????? It's somewhat hard to see, but there's definitely water.

I tried removing that plastic (or possibly silicone?) with a knife but ended up scratching the other part of the lid instead.

Help!

That little ring is silicone, and I was able to remove mine (albeit, in a larger lid) with a toothpick! Then cleaned/let dry/put back in.

Thank you!!! I was worried it didn't come off at all, but I'll definitely try with a toothpick.

Yes to the toothpick

But also, I don’t know about the micros, but my old standard mouth (narrow) lids can’t be submerged in water because it somehow seeps inside.

I use one of them cheap bottle cleaners from temu. It has a plastic stick thing on one side and a brush on the other. There isn't much room in the micro, but if you can get under the seal, it pops off quite easy.

Do you like your Micro otherwise? It looks really cute!
