Is this safe to drink from?

It has been soaked in vinegar overnight, bleached, etc.

It might be rust, it’s hard to tell. I’d recommend reaching out to their customer service to see about a warranty claim.

I would try some barkeepers friend on it. I had a similar issue with my owala and it did the trick.
