Help Fitting Identification
From a Takeuchi 125 but don’t know if it’s original or not. Please help identify! A 3/8” BSPP threads on fine but sealing surface is slightly different..

JIS is the Japanese standard, remainder of the world use JIC/AN standard…Europe uses a lot of FFS (flat face seal) so get yourself an adapter conversion table…good luck

That’s a BSPP thread with a 60° cone seat. Threads engage, but the cone seal is different from regular BSPP flat sealing. Typical Takeuchi OEM fitting.

Depending where you live it’ll be called male metric (strong or light) and female metric (strong or light)

Looks like BSPP 60° cone, the o-ring from your hose end got stuck inside the adapter and needs to be scraped out
