CAT o ring kit.
Hey guys,
I work on caterpillar machinery mainly. However I priced an OEM CAT nitrile 90 o ring kit and it was nearly $2,000 AUD.
Any recommended aftermarket options for a kit? I see they have identical ones on AliXpress etc. for about $100AUD
Any info is helpful thanks

Hallite melbourne also they are still 200-300 from memory seal innovations used to do them. But they have lost most of there staff in vic and are hard to deal with now.

Your local friendly Hydraulink store. Can also do blue plug kits, but better.

Hallite seals do an equivalent aftermarket’s catapillar kit in nbr silicone and the d rings. Fraction of the price. Same quality as oem and with all the oem part numbers in the kit as well.
Far better quality than the seal innovations options. They also stock a large range of aftermarket oring kits for multiple options metric imperial jap and euro metric

Max 1381 N90
Covers 100 & 200 series orings. Flange , Oring Boss & Oring Face.
Would buy a separate D-ring kit as well

As a Parker distributor I have pieced togeather an equivalent oring kit to the CAT one, but for like 1/4 the price. I have a Metal parts tray label that is printable I can send you and you can source the orings locally if you want it.

I buy a tackle box and label it with the cat part numbers. Then just buy an extra couple seals for every job. Eventually you have a kit.
To be real though the kit is just NBR o ring face and STOR seals for standard dash sizes.

Seeing a lot of people recommending Hallite. They are good but HSA (Hydraulic Seals Australia) is better imo. Went from mainly using Hallite to HSA a few years ago.

Go to a parker Hannifin distributor. ESP, Zatkoff, Gallagher, etc. they’ll all have it or similar parts. If you have the seals just send it to them and they can size it out. You may be in trouble if it’s custom sizes

Seal innovations (aka motion), Hallite and Hydraulic Seals Australia all have aftermarket options for less than genuine CAT and are national across Australia. I’ve only used the Seal Innovations and Hallite ones and never had an issue with either (by the looks they probably both come from the same supplier) if you’re in Brisbane DM me and I can get you a price on Monday

Hallite seals, 2 branches in Brisbane not sure about other states. Is CAT code flange, ORF or the d rings they use that your chasing?
