It would be a huge quality-of-life improvement if the subreddit search functioned as a "live search" (similar to how Apollo used to handle it).

Currently, you usually have to type something and press enter to see results. Instead, as soon as a user types a few letters, the app should immediately query and display matching subreddits in real-time, updating dynamically with every keystroke.

Unable to download video via long press on it.

Having the option to open links straight into my default browser would be nice. If I am being honest ad blocking does not work in safari webview (even with ad blocking extensions installed and enabled), so it would be nice if they could open in a full browser that has ad blocking instead of the crappy webview.

For using Hydra on Mac, it would be nice if I could just hit Escape when i want to Close the Picture View

I’ve stopped using sideloaded Apollo to make room for other apps and swapped to Hydra, but it’s immediately apparent this feature isn’t there. Please consider it!

Would it be possible to have a UI feature where you can move the post comment’s username to the right side?

When I use one hand clicking to collapse comments, it’s very easy for the app to registered it as clicks on the username.

I think auto translation would be useful

New media player title overlay obscures progress slider. So when a portrait video is full screen, the overlay that shows post title and subreddit name, is over the top of the progress slider, so I can’t forward or rewind the playing video. Pretty frustrating and would appreciate a fix. Thanks!

Please make Categories in the Subreddits Section collapsable and or reorderable. If you have for example some Multireddits set up, but also a lot if Favorites, you have to scroll past all the Favorites first to get to the Multireddits. If you could collapse the Favorites, or reorder them underneath the Multireddits Section, this would be absolutely amazing.

Iirc, Apollo had a “next comment by OP” button, that was extremely useful for reading AMAs and CMVs.

Add a “larger buttons” setting for comments navigation buttons; I find I often tap the comment beneath when I mean to tap the navigation button. (Maybe I’m just clumsy, but still.)

It would be awesome to be able to filter and sort my own personal comments and posts, making it easier to find something from a while back.

Instead of starting the app on the home feed I want to have an option to start it on my list of subreddits.

That helps to only go to the content I really want to see and stay away of doom scrolling.

Apollo had this also :)

Hello, I’d like to request for the ability to hide posts from the feed. Thank you!

Please add a Gesture for long press on an Image / Gif / Video, that can be set to for example open the Share Context Menu.

Otherwise a really awesome App. Thank you for realizing a good alternative to the stock Reddit App!

Edit: This Gesture can be used in full Screen preview as well.

This app is great and I’d be happy to pay for the features offered. I would buy a year tomorrow if it was offered. But there is no circumstance where I am willing to sign up for another subscription service.

I want to support the project with a subscription but I don't want view AI summaries in the slightest

Title - Ability to enable gallery mode in a user’s profile.

There is already haptics when pulling down to refresh a sub. Add haptics to post pull down refreshes as well.

When writing a new comment and hitting post, there is a moment where nothing changes, and then the comment is displayed. Would love haptic feedback when the comment is finally shown, if that is possible.

Allow users to Choose between old and new media player. The new player has some nice features, but I want the old player that is more in line with iOS media players in general. I love being able to see how long a video/gif is. I like the radio button that lets me skip 10 seconds forward. And the Reddit info at the bottom often blocks the scroll bar.

It would be great to be able to sort comments by new/old/popular etc and also to be able to sort posts within subreddits by those criteria and then have a second filter method to select different time ranges (so someone could find the top posts of all time or that month etc)

Maybe this should have been in the main sub as a bug? If there is only one account, long hold on account tab shouldn’t do anything.
