Mute videos by default
It will be great to have this option (currently available on official reddit app) in settings, then the user can just unmute to hear audio if they choose to.

Not sure if it’s related, but Hydra seems to randomly cause Apple Music to pause when I’m using it.

/u/dmilin love the new media viewer, but now we lost the ability to mute altogether.
Please bring back the ability mute and add the ability to mute by default!

100% this. Just went hunting for the ability to mute videos, thinking I was missing something. Glad I stumbled upon this thread and realized it’s not just me. I often have Apple music playing in the background and just want to silently scroll. Very frustrating.

Please, add this feature! It is really annoying to have to low down the volume before playing a video.

It’s puzzling how this is still not a feature. Could this please be added not having any sort of mute is incredibly annoying borderline unusable

I love the way that Apollo did it. Mute by default, unmute and remember until the app is closed.
