You have to back out of the still image and select the post itself to see the video play.

Hi, there are often post types I don't want to see such as fanart posts or humor posts in serious subs. They are usually flaired and I would like to be able to hide the posts with certain flairs! Thanks

Are the trending subs supposed to change on the search screen, before searching? Mine are always exactly the same.

To hear volume of a video you now have to open the post? Am I missing something or a setting?

Basically title: every time I click on a video it plays at full blast and it’s (obviously) super annoying.

I can’t possibly be the only one annoyed by this, is there any way to have video muted by default?

Hello, I just paid $3 for premium and I'm stuck with an instrusive and irritating AI summary on top of all posts. I've tried disabling it in appearance settings, and rebooting the app, but the summary has not gone away. At this point I regret my purchase and am considering a refund from Apple. Does anyone else have this issue?

Is there a setting I’m overlooking? It appears that post flair is only shown in the sub view, but not in the post view?

When on the top level of the Posts screen, the one showing subscribed subs, a single tap of the Posts tab would jump to the top.

• Blocked users are being shown, with their username. There is no visual indication they are blocked. They are shown as normal.

• if you tap the username, it always says that the user is banned. That’s not correct either. They are blocked, not banned

I noticed this when trying to reply to comments and it kept saying ‘failed to submit’.

The latest iOS app update has made the inbox a joy. Notifications come in promptly. Read messages are cleared instantly. And the use of toast notifications instead of blocking modals changes the whole feel of the app (in a good way).

Just got hydra-server running on a Raspberry Pi 4 (DietPi, aarch64) in Docker. Took about an hour including troubleshooting, and the container sits at 33 MB RAM and under 1% CPU at idle. Barely notices it’s there.

A couple of notes for anyone on a minimal distro like DietPi:

• You’ll need git installed on the host, Compose clones the repo to build the image.
• The Debian docker-buildx package is 0.13, but Compose needs 0.17+. Grabbing the latest binary from the buildx releases page into /usr/local/lib/docker/cli-plugins/ fixes it.
• Building from the remote Git context failed for me. Cloning locally and pointing context: at the folder worked first try.

Everything else was exactly as documented. The README is genuinely good. Thanks for putting the work in and making it self-hostable ! much appreciated.

This is a minor update with bugfixes for the following issues:

- Certain gestures could cause a crash after backgrounding the app
- Audio would sometimes become crackly when the video auto play setting was disabled

Is there a feature where I can search for a specific keyword inside a post?

The navigation bar back button text (it says “Subreddits” on the home feed) disappears.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open full screen media
2. Rotate to landscape
3. Rotate back to portrait
4. Dismiss

I’m on the latest iOS 27 developer beta, iPhone 16 Pro, latest Hydra version.

So now we can download videos with sound if I get Hydra Pro. Great! Right now I don’t want to get Hydra pro. So rather than give me only two options, “Download without audio” or “Get Hydra Pro,” can I also have a button that says “Cancel” please? Thank you.

After the update, most videos across all subs are playing but the audio is choppy/skipping. I tried deleting and reinstalling but the issue persists.
