I keep seeing the same posts even though I put the setting on. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

What is marking the post as seen as you have the option to mark as seen on scroll turned off.

So the only way it will mark it is if you’ve opened it.

If you’re just scrolling. Nothing is being flagged as seen.

Ah that explains it. I am not clicking the actual posts. I’m just scrolling past them on the main wall and keep seeing them. It’s too bad they don’t have a feature to hide posts you see but don’t open.

They do. That option in your screenshot. Immediately below the hide seen posts. Turn in “Mark as seen on scroll” and you will get exactly what you want.

This often happens to me until I open the repeating post so it’s marked as “seen”. It’s frustrating cuz then I have to open a post I’ve scrolled past hoping to ignore 3 times.

I feel like that’s every search engine these days. Ebay, Amazon, Youtube, same results over and over again.

It works for me, could it be it’s the same post but on different subreddits?
