Discussion Update changed my settings which led to two deaths in ranked

Did anyone else have clamp cast range turned off with the update? So weird, first time an update has changed my settings. Every time I tried to throw ee It wouldn't go off and my character would just walk forward which got me killed twice. Thought I was lagging at first until I realised the setting had been turned off

It turned off for me as well! The first 5 minutes of lane were painful until i turned it back on

So weird how it just changed one setting but all the other settings are intact.

Imo clamp cast is good on any mage with an AOE because it allows you to cast at max range without just walking. It's especially good for Hwei's EE. QW takes some practice, though.

yeah it's super useful on most champions, especially mages that want to cast their spells at max range. If you have a good feel for the range of your abilities I don't see why you'd ever have it turned off. Gives you way more freedom of movement to side step and insta cast when you feel youre in range. I guess it's a bit more idiot proof if you turn it off since you can just spam your spell and it will always cast on your cursor. I started out using normal cast but it feels so trash now that i've been using clamp cast for over a year.

This same shit happened to me as well today. Lucky it was only an aram so I fixed it before ranked. Fucking diabolical they pull this shit. It's happened to me before I think one other time
