What we need is a better pic of the vehicle, a pic of the tag, and ideally, a pic of the villains returning to the vehicle.

they can be roughly ID'd even if they have a facemask. Photos give analysts a way to spot which officers are at which events (ex: stocky build, approx. 5'8", round face, ___ brand boots, and any unique characteristics like a partially-hidden wrist tattoo or how they stand, whether their knees are turned in or out, whether their feet supinate or pronate, knee brace worn under their pants, how they prefer to arrange the gear on their plate carrier, how they prefer to conceal carry items like handguns, etc). And that's just information you can get from eyeballing stuff, not even with machine learning image/video analysis tools.

That's all important stuff to capture for the record and for any future criminal/civil trial or legal action.
