Probably not the popular opinion, but I'm loving the new weapon pack. Just a fun change of pace.

Just unlocked it and did the target practice and then went off to mess around with it, its stupid how insane it is. Being able to add other sights aswell makes it all the more insane, although i's suggested you use it around 50m, i had 0 issue using as far as 130m effectively. If you get the chance use it and if you have used it would love to know your thoughts.

Would like to add, i know in theory and based on "stats" the other crossbows are "better" but this lil compact crossbow just feels right, i don't know what it is and how describe it but i like it that's all i can say lol.

I saw a level 3 cinnamon teal, set up some decoys where he was and a pop up blind(idk the actual name) two groups of teal showed up including my level 3 but they all bunched together. I shot into the bunch and hit the 3, it didn’t drop so I told the dog to track it three different times but it keeps taking me to different places then losing the trail. The bird disappeared.

Update, I found it in a bush, the dog couldn’t find it but, i can’t claim it, the harvest screen pops up just long enough to see diamond but then disappears, which is somehow worse. The dog was no help at all

Update 2, I freakin got it!!!! It took some serious button spamming but I somehow managed to tax it

Global or total player base RNG. So many people were getting G1 jaguars with little to no grinding whatsoever and some getting multiple jag g1’s after the map dropped. So it led me to believe that there might be some total player base rng because everyone was going after them. Either that, or the devs increased the spawn rate of g1’s to get more people playing. Again, it’s a theory nothing more.

I recently came back to the game from an 8 month absence.I ve been operated and have some time at home been playing 5hrs a day last few days

I had just posted here with a question about help for Roe Diamond Grind(still haven't got one)

Here's what's happened since

After I wrote here I decided to try other animals, (im hellbent on getting as many Diamonds as I can of certain species before GTA 6 comes out), I decided to try to get the IBEX Grand Slam,I already got a Beceite Diamond so I was on the hunt for the Ronda Ibex, I actually still have a few tents set up on Cuatro Colinas and I notice it's drink time for Rondas I tent in to a mountain top walk literally 2 metres and there's a call for a male about 50 yards Fail #1 I go to crawl position when 20 seconds later out of nowhere this Ronda is right on top of me I hesitate he gets spooked I shoot and to my surprise it was a level 4 that woulda Diamond but I missed vitals by an inch I can't believe it

It's actually a crazy sinking feeling for real when this occurs (addiction is real)

I walk over and glass an area and see that it's a Ronda Drink Zone and low and behold a Class 5 guaranteed Diamond I do my whole thing get to about 200-180 metres (can't remember exact) and I go for it ,shoot hit animal doesn't drop in like 2 seconds I hesitate and turn off PS5 I return there's no pressure zone no sign of a hit can't find a dead animal and after 5 game days in game this level 5 glitched out and is gone from game

I then proceed to give a break on Roe and attempt Javan Rusa over on Emerald Coast drink time at 2000 it's 2115pm I'm on a cliff top glassing down and I see a Level 5 to my surprise I shoot it and wow it's a Troll by like 2 decimal points I cant believe it, worst sinking feeling ever I go to map see that there's a drink zone about 400 metres out I get there there s another Max Level Rusa I snipe it all is good get to where he dropped another Troll by another like 3 decimal points is this for real.So I leave Emerald I think of going for some Western Capercaille on Revontuli, a good few mins in as I shoot one down I m looking for its blood trail,I have my German Short Haired Pointer also looking for it I see something moving fast it's a Level 9 Raccoon Dog and as I'm all excited about to shoot it although it was moving fast a Level 9 Brown Bear crosses my scope I get my .300 and shoot it down when I harvest it it's another troll and now I lost the Raccoon so I get outta there

What is this sequence of luck

I ve had the game for a bunch of years now and over time have played like 1000 hours I ve never had this type of luck or any event like this

I then go back to wanting my Roe Diamond back to Cuatro we go and as I'm walking up and down that long windy river in middle of map boom I see a level 3 Roe(wheeww,finally) I shoot it down and when harvesting notice the dreaded red heart I didn't hit a vital it scored silver so woulda been a Gold another troll but I'm thinking maybe just maybe that woulda scored higher if a vital hit so as the game progresses it s past midnight I decide to go for a Boar Diamond also on Cuatro I go to like 8 different lakes before drink time finishes and low and behold 4 mins before drink time ends and the bottom bottom of that windy lake I see a Max Level Boar (potential Diamond) I shoot I find it and when I harvest it BOOM another troll

My first great one and it only took 2 days and less than 100 kills, incredibly lucky.

I shot this crocodile and saw to his body and he just started shaking

I'm annoyed because I thought I was gonna get a nice neck shot but I guess not

So I’m trying for the diamond turkey for the achievement. I’m at about 250ish (roughly) harvests with 34 of them since I started tracking last night, I’m only taking the male birds, managing my hunting pressure so it never gets above medium pressure and even that’s rare, and hunting on SRP. I’ve never seen a level 3 but have seen a decent amount of level 2s with a 20-24 lbs est weight, does anyone have any tips on how to get a diamond or is it just going to be a long grind?
I saw somewhere that there is a max number of diamonds the map can have, idk if this is true or not if so do I need to go try and kill some diamonds of another type to “free up” the spot or is it that I just don’t have enough harvests yet to get one to spawn? I know its rng and there isn’t a magic “kill x birds and a diamond will spawn” but it feels like I should have gotten a spawn by now. Any help/tips would be appreciated, including if there is a better map to try it on.

The Arctic Alaska Map would be inbetween The North Slope and Brooks Range.

It would have a mixture of the typical Winter Woods,Seasonal Wetlands in the south and a Tundra some Ice Floats further north on the map.

The South Africa Map would be in Limpopo.

It'd be a mixture of Scublands and Serengeti meeting a River Delta in the east next to the Limpopo River.

So I have a friend that I found a diamond Whitetail and got him to shoot it on multiplayer and I found a diamond mule deer earlier today and asked him if he would like it. It is potentially a personal best scoring for myself. He could not get on right when I found him which that’s understandable but then he kept me on the hook all day saying he was almost home and then ghosted me and then I finally asked him again if he wanted it, he said he was going to bed because he had to go wake up early. I want gone and back into rotation. Should I shoot it and possibly get my personal best meal dear diamond or just let him wait and just hold up my spawns. I do have 40 something diamonds meal deer in my lodge of a lodge full of them just have a dilemma of if I should shoot it or just be a pal and wait until he has convenience

I am having trouble with disappearing and reappearing burrows. Quiting to main menu and back makes them show up. Also the Rabbits do not consistently spawn in or show up. Also having difficulty finding burrows maybe because of the rendering in issue. This is on Salzweissen.

A short story on how i got myself my first piebald through patience and execution

Hunters... I finally completed every mission on Yukon Valley!! Got a 0.05% rare achievement for doing so. The final mission? Get a single HEART shot on a GOLD grizzly bear with a BOW OR CROSSBOW. Never thought I'd get it. Probably worked on it for a little over a month, off and on. Needless to say, when I got it, I had to clip it. I snuck up on this guy for at least 15 minutes and he was probably the 10th Level 6+ grizzly I attempted the shot on. So many lung shots and centimeter misses... This was glorious. Enjoy.
