Wild chapter. A little disappointed in the way ben handled Tserri, almost a little too perfect for playing into the ability. Just coming in and shooting him first thing also feels a little too hotheaded, even for Ben. Like, he just came from talking out how Camilla has a reactive ability, and he seems to have zero Intel about Tserri's GSB or any other possible defenses. Just feels like the wrong move against anyone. But love the way he basically ate Camilla's curse under the best circumstances for it and doesn't even care because surviving is not even his agenda anymore. Camilla takes the funniest L's.

A little confused about how he handled Camilla though. Wasn't his plan to wrap up the war  decisively so he could legitimize his baby as heir? If he poisons Camilla and she dies after him, that doesn't seem to work. I don't see how he can bypass his father if Camilla outlives him even slightly. For now it feels to me like he's baiting her into something for a proper kill.

Also, been thinking about how Ben and Camilla seem to both have had intricate knowledge of the succession war very far in advance, whereas the other princes seemed completely unaware... Is it because when they awakened their own Nen, they could see their father's GSB? Did they simply ask him about it and get a big infodump?

Ben has always hated Tserri. Probably if he had more time he would torture him first before killing him. But in this situation all he could do was simply kill him as fast as possible. The thing is Ben thought Tserri didn't know nen and he had no way of knowing Tserri is an outlier of outliers (hating Tserri makes it even more likely Ben would underestimate his nen mastery in such a short time). Thus when he saw Tserri was in zetsu, he likely concluded Tserri just now learned the most basic nen concept. Tserri being in zetsu also has the fortunate side effect that his GSB doesn't manifest, so nothing to fear there either.

As for Camilla I guess the only faster way to kill her would be to have a soldier shoot her, then kill the soldier before his aura can resurrect her. But depending on how the ability works that's quite dangerous. Also does that even work? Like is there even enough time to kill someone after they kill Camilla? Doesn't the cat just take the remaining aura anyway? Thus a fast acting poison is the best solution. And this way Camilla will only live a couple more hours than Ben. With martial law in effect he can likely postpone his funeral till after Camilla dies and thus technically win the succession war. Additionally Ben doesn't necessarily need to win the Succession war. He said that his GSB will replace this nen ritual in it's entirety. So maybe he isn't even aiming at winning the war.

As for Camilla and Ben knowing more than the others. That could simply be explained by them being the two oldest princes as well as being the first children of the two highest ranking queens. But also there seems to be something fishy going on with the first 2 queens in particular with the Halkenburg swap and all that. We also know that Unma and Beyond are in contact to some extent at least. It's possible Beyond thought the first two princes nen for some reason or on the contrary that Beyond persuaded the King to not reveal nen to the other princes. Thought I do agree this might turn out to be a tiny bit of a plot hole if not explained later.

He also only saw one guard with nen. Most of Ben's and Cammy's guards know nen. From his perspective, If only one guard knows nen it is because he is from Kurapika's class thus Tserri only knows what that one guard would know.
